Neurointerventional Specialist - Physician

An experienced neurointerventional provider, with a strong interest in program development, serving as medical director for the program is being sought for full-time employment at an established certified Primary Stroke Center.

This clinical and medical leadership position provides the opportunity for an energetic provider to develop interventional stroke capabilities as part of a multi-disciplinary team of neurohospitalists, neurosurgeons, emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, stroke coordinators, nursing staff and other members of the stroke care team who have developed a cohesive regional system of stroke care that is ready to expand in northern Colorado and beyond.

Eligible candidates may come from the following disciplines:

• Interventional Neuro-Radiology
• Endovascular Neurosurgery
• Interventional Neurology
• Interventional Cardiology

Medical Center of the Rockies is a regional neurosurgical center and Level II trauma center with 189 total beds. The esteemed Heart Center of the Rockies with extensive electrophysiology, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery services is based here as are the LifeLine rotor and critical care transport teams.
