The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking applications at the rank of professor in the Medical Center Line. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a M.D. degree and are board certified in both dermatology & pediatric dermatology. The candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in administrative leadership, teaching, mentorship, research and clinical care in medical as well as procedural pediatric dermatology.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

The successful candidate will have a compelling vision for the future of Pediatric Dermatology at Stanford University with proven leadership and management skills as well as strong clinical credentials. This position will help enhance the national and international visibility of pediatric dermatology at Stanford, and support our department’s preeminent role within the School of Medicine. The candidate shall also be able to synergize with the department's genetic-focused translational research programs; lead multidisciplinary clinical teams as well as clinical trials; and have expertise in complex pediatric dermatology.
