Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor – Child Psychiatrist (41813)

Position Description:

The University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is currently recruiting for a Child Psychiatrist to fill a faculty position in the Child and Adolescent Division. This is a full-time, (1.0 FTE), multi-mission, non-tenure track faculty position. This position will have a critical role on the Pediatric Psychiatry Consult Service, providing consultation to UF Shands Children’s Hospital on a half-time basis. This position will also involve coverage of child/ adolescent inpatient services and provision of outpatient services for adult and child patients in the Department of Psychiatry. This position will play a key role in teaching students, residents, and scholarship in promoting the missions of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida.  Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.

Position Description:

The University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is currently recruiting for a Child Psychiatrist to fill a faculty position in the Child and Adolescent Division.  This is a full-time, (1.0 FTE) non-tenure clinical track faculty position.  This position will play an active role in the clinical, educational, and scholarly life of the Department and the College of Medicine. The candidate will be responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient care, including telepsychiatry and consultation/collaborative care to pediatricians and community agencies to patients needing quality care.  This position will also serve an important role in teaching students, residents, and promoting the clinical and educational mission of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida.  The Division and Department also offer opportunities and support for scholarly and career development for its faculty.

Starting Salary for each position is negotiable.

Applicants must have completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and must be Board Certified and/or Board Eligible M.D. or equivalent and able to obtain a Florida Medical License in the state of Florida. Exhibit a demonstrated record of clinical excellence and teaching in an academic medical center.
