PEDIATRIC SURGEON OPPORTUNITY IN TAMPA BAY ON THE BEAUTIFUL WEST COAST OF FLORIDA

BayCare Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Pediatric Surgeon to join a well-established hospital employed practice of 4 Pediatric Surgeons, and 5.5 dedicated Pediatric Advanced Practice Practitioners.  We are seeking candidates interested in all aspects of pediatric surgical care: minimally invasive surgery, trauma, general thoracic surgery, and newborn surgery. 

As Tampa’s first acute care facility dedicated solely to children, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital (SJCH) was designed to ensure the highest quality pediatric care for children, even those with the most complex or chronic conditions.

Our children’s hospital is an all-private room facility.  Our 186-bed facility is home to a medical staff of nearly 200 physicians, including roughly 80 pediatric specialists that represent virtually every major pediatric sub-specialty.  SJCH has earned a reputation for pediatric excellence, and attracts families from across our region and beyond. We are a level II trauma center, and the third largest children’s hospital in Florida, providing outstanding medical and surgical pediatric care that outranks all other hospitals in Hillsborough County.
