Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, seeks an experienced and visionary academic leader to be the Division Director for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University Physician Group, its physician practice group.

The physician leader will be responsible for the overall clinical growth (specifically Maternal-Fetal Medicine), excellent research, education and service for all aspects of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division and the ability to lead and mentor other faculty within the division; work closely with the Chair of the department and the Hospital leadership team.  The ideal Division Director would be an active clinician-scientist with strong leadership qualities, excellent clinical skills, specifically in prenatal diagnosis and intervention, high educational standards and teaching abilities. The Director would lead an academic MFM Division including clinical and Midwifery and a fellowship program and will have budgetary responsibilities for the Division and set goals for fiscal strength of the Division. 

Physician must be Board certified by ABOG in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine.  Academic appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology commensurate with experience.
