In the heart of beautiful central Florida, within driving distance to the gulf coast and ocean blue, lies a nationally recognized Children's Hospital looking to add a Lead Pediatric Exercise Physiologist to the team.  While their primary Stress Lab is located at the main hospital campus, this health system is growing rapidly and will be opening up a satellite cardiopulmonary stress lab in the coming months!  While the current Exercise Physiology team continues to man this main location, the PhD prepared Exercise Physiologist will manage and grow the satellite office.  The PhD EP associate will develop and expand clinical practice and become involved in research, as they continue to expand their congenital heart program.  This is a unique opportunity for someone to conduct research, develop and implement evidence based protocols and work directly with patients when there is a need to run both stress labs simultaneously.  We do not currently have a schedule for the satellite stress lab, and it will not start out at 5 days/week.  The lead PhD EP would evaluate the schedule and patient complexity and determine staffing for both labs.   Check out the details below and let me know if you'd like to learn more!

• Operational hours are Mon-Fri 8:00a-5:00p; typical working hours are 8:00a-4:30p, 7:30a-4:00p or 8:30a-5:00p with flexibility
• This is a new position that has opened up due to department and hospital growth

Position requirements:

• PhD Required
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' of hospital exercise physiology experience required
• ACSM-CEP preferred
• AHA BLS required upon hire
