LUNG TRANSPLANTATION PULMONOLOGIST

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an exceptional physician for a clinical faculty position with a focus on lung transplantation to join our rapidly expanding lung and heart-lung transplant program.   Appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievement.  An individual with clinical training in lung transplantation, commitment to education, as well as an ability to work with innovators in academia is desired.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an outstanding group of clinicians, researchers, educators and trainees, and to interact with the world-class clinical and research programs at the MGH.  The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine provides comprehensive care for patients with all types of pulmonary disease and critical illness with active subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, lung transplantation, interstitial lung disease, and interventional pulmonology.  There are also opportunities to collaborate with clinical and translational research programs in the Division, as well as the MGH Transplant Center, and to supervise and teach residents and fellows.  U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine among the best in the nation.  Interested applicants should forward their CV and letter of interest to Dr. Benjamin Medoff at mghpulmonary@mgh.harvard.edu
