Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing appropriate Obstetrical, Gynecological and continuing care to all patients at Garnet Health Doctors as well as affording leadership, coordination and administration. The Physician is a partner in an interdisciplinary team of care givers and administrative support staff to perform assigned duties while displaying the highest of standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of Garnet Health Doctors , supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients. Provider will admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to adolescent and adult female patients with medical and surgical complications of pregnancy, disorders of the genitourinary system, problems with fertility including surgical intervention, live births, C-Sections

Qualifications:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Board Certified or Board Eligible M.D. or D.O. licensed to practice in the State of New York possessing an unrestricted DEA certification while maintaining required staff privileges at Orange Regional Medical Center and / or Catskill Regional Medical CenterMinimum Education:Degree of M.D. or D.O. with recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM-recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum)Minimum Experience:Professional clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology practice with at least 50 deliveries (with at least 5 C-Sections) and the performance of at least 25 gynecological surgical / oncological procedures Required Certification/Registration:NYS Medical License, valid and unrestrictedBoard Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology achieved within five (5) years after completion of training. ACLS and / or BLS active & unexpired certificationsDEA Certification, valid and unrestrictedNeonatal Resuscitation, current and ongoing Physical Requirements:Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the practice of internal medicine or family medicine.Working Conditions:Hospital clinic direct patient care offices with In-patient rounding and operating room and office based procedures
