Responsibilities:
Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner - working with our clinical team the Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) will evaluate, diagnose, medically manage and treat patients of all ages in the urgent care setting. This includes recognition, evaluation, stabilization, and management in response to acute illness and injury, as well as, specified physicals (sports, pre-employment, DOT). The provider will be responsible for prescribing, administering, and/or dispensing medication for ages 2 months and up. Our APP's are be expected to perform simple procedures appropriate for an urgent care setting, such as, laceration repair, incision and drainage, simple foreign body removal, and splinting. The advanced practitioner will be responsible for EKG interpretation, initial X-ray interpretation, point of care testing, and lab work results. There is also a virtual care component.Tower Health Urgent Care full time positions are 3-12 hour shifts per week, to include every other weekend and rotating holidays. Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited programCurrent AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS certificationsCurrent applicable licensure (PA-C's will require both Medical and Osteopathic licensures)
