Responsibilities:
Direct, coordinate, and oversee the administration of all associated nursing and support staff.Plan, implement and evaluate all nursing services to include associated administrative operations and activities.Review, establish and maintain patient care protocol and standards, ensuring that all federal and state, Armor, and facility policies, regulations, and guidelines for patient care are met.Establish and coordinate quality improvement, safety, and infection control programsReview pharmacy utilization to ensure adherence to the formulary.Establish and implement short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating proceduresDesign, establish and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives, recruits, employs, trains, supervises, and evaluates professional and contract staff.

Qualifications:
Current unencumbered state license as an RNBachelors in Nursing preferredPrevious nursing supervisory experience, preferably in a correctional healthcare settingCurrent CPR certificateProficient with electronic medical recordsAbility to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen Armor Health is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all qualified employees and applicants.
