Radiation Oncologist

The Department of Radiation Oncology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join its faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Responsibilities include clinical and academic (teaching and/or research) work in a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary Cancer Center and its satellite offices.  The Department of Radiation Oncology is the leading cutting-edge facility in Central New York for the treatment of cancer, offering integrated multidisciplinary care along with investigator-initiated research and national cooperative clinical trials programs.  The department maintains a fully accredited residency program.

A full range of radiation oncology services provided at the Upstate Cancer Center include Gamma Knife Perfexion, TomoTherapy, Varian TrueBeam with OBI and Respiratory Gating, Vero SBRT, and a CT simulator with a GE Advantage Sim workstation.  Active brachytherapy programs include HDR, intra-operative radiation therapy, and prostate seed implantation.

In addition to the Upstate Cancer Center, the Physician Group operates satellite offices in Syracuse, Oswego, Oneida, Cortland and Utica, NY.
