Manhattan Clinical Service Chief of Operations, Department of Radiation Oncology– Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is one of the world’s premier cancer centers, committed to exceptional patient care, leading-edge research, and superb educational programs. The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians, and other health care workers.

The Radiation Oncology Department is seeking a qualified Radiation Oncologist for the position of Manhattan Clinical Service Chief of Operations.   The ideal candidate also has leadership experience.

The Radiation Oncology Department at MSK treats more than 10,000 New Patients each year. We use all forms of radiation including orthovoltage, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, brachytherapy, proton therapy, intraoperative radiation and will be introducing an MRI-LINAC next year.

In this role, the Service Chief will:

  • Work closely with department leaders to manage and develop operational strategies for both Memorial Hospital and the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, both located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan
  • Oversee operations for ~35 faculty members practicing at those facilities
  • Fully integrate into the clinical team and will have the opportunity to develop your research/academic interests in the context of the clinical, translational, and scientific resources that MSK provides
