The Department of Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time position as an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine, Clinician Educator Track. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching, clinical care and research, is able to build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally. Responsibilities will include pre-doctoral and postdoctoral clinical and didactic teaching, direct patient care and research in oral medicine.

Qualifications

Eligible candidates must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Oral Medicine and at minimum, be board-eligible by the American Board of Oral Medicine (ABOM). In accordance with the Department mission of collaborative and interdisciplinary healthcare, qualifications in public health research, practice and advocacy are highly desired.

In addition, candidates must be eligible to work in the US. Candidates must hold a DMD/DDS degree and have graduated from a US accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted dental license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
