The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University seeks a reproductive endocrinologist physician-scientist to join the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) and Reproductive, Perinatal and Stem Cell Biology (RPSCB) Divisions. The faculty position is at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level in the University Tenure Line (UTL) or Medical Center Line (MCL) line.  The predominant criterion for appointment in the UTL is a major commitment to research and teaching.  The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the MCL is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service—appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD and be REI board certified or eligible. They will need to have a demonstrated ability to conduct basic and/or translational research in the areas of reproductive or perinatal biology, reproductive stem cell biology, and/or reproductive endocrinology.

We expect the successful candidate to develop an academic laboratory based research program that is highly collaborative within the Department and the larger Stanford Community.  In addition to research, the successful candidate will participate in all of the clinical activities of the division, including office visits, ART procedures, and reproductive surgery at minimum 20% effort level. The successful applicant will also participate in teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows serve as a research mentor for OB/GYN residents and REI fellows in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The REI division has a fully ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
