The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics at Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU SOM) is seeking a board certified/eligible geriatric internist for a full-time faculty position at Wayne State University School of Medicine on the Clinician-Educator Track at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Day to day clinical service responsibilities in the area of geriatrics, through employment through Wayne State University Physician Group,
  • Participation in the teaching program of both internal and external medical students, residents and fellows,
  • Participation in research activities within the Department of Internal Medicine.
  • Publication in peer-reviewed literature as author or co-author,
  • Participation in scholarly activities in the area of geriatrics,
  • Participation in service assignments of importance to the Department, the School of Medicine and the University, and
  • Administrative duties as assigned.
