The Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking a board-certified Hematopathologist with an established program of research who meets the the academic qualifications for the rank of Professor at Harvard Medical School. The successful applicant is expected to devote ~80% of their time directing a basic/translational research laboratory that performs innovative, nationally/internationally recognized, NIH-funded research that is centered on or relevant to the pathogenesis of hematologic malignancies and/or other forms of cancer. The major portion of the remainder of the applicant’s effort will be devoted to clinical duties that will be divided between the Hematopathology Service in the Anatomic Pathology Division and the Hematology Laboratory in the Clinical Laboratories Division.
