Stony Brook University School of Medicine of the State University of New York invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the division of Gastroenterology.

We are seeking individuals with a strong clinical background to become involved with our expanding program of patient care, teaching, and academic scholarship. Stony Brook is located in suburban Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, offering excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. The level of appointment will be dependent on credentials and experience.

Required Qualifications: MD or equivalent. Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and teaching on the inpatient GI consult service including liver, biliary, and general GI cases. Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in clinical research with a focus on small bowel disease and/or GI motility disorders.
