FACULTY POSITION

The USC Roski Eye Institute and the Department of Ophthalmology, Keck School of Medicine of USC are expanding their strong vision research program. The Department invites applications for a Tenure-Track or Tenured Associate Professor or Full Professor. Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree and have a record of accomplishments with peer-reviewed publications and NIH/NEI research funding. Candidates conducting research with a focus on translational research that will impact clinical management of eye diseases, in areas of stem cell/gene therapies, ocular immunology, inflammation, infection, or neurovascular biology are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a joint appointment in one of the following basic science departments: Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine or Physiology and Neuroscience, as well as membership in one or more of the following renowned USC institutes: Eli and Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research, Ginsburg Institute for Biomedical Therapeutics, or Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute. The successful candidate is expected to form productive intra-departmental and interdepartmental collaborations with other faculty and contribute to broadening the USC Roski Eye Institute's vision research program.
