The Johns Hopkins Hospital Head & Neck, GI, Plastics, & Oncology Surgical Unit (Weinberg 4 C/D) each unit has 18 beds for adolescent and adult patients. Care and services provided for surgical patients: plastics, reconstruction after breast cancer surgery, gastrointenstinal surgery for pancreatic or liver cancer, otolaryngology/ head and neck, and general surgery.

Shifts: 8 Hour Evening Shifts

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required
* 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)
* BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted

Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.
