Job Summary

When you join our team as a dental assistant , you'll have the ability to improve lives within the community one smile at a time. Under the direction of the Managing Clinical Director, the dental assistant will be responsible for creating lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients as part of the the TAG Oral Care Center for Excellence -a first-of-its-kind state-of-the-art clinic that will provide comprehensive dental care at no cost to underserved patients, including low-income Illinois residents .

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Dental Assistant, you'll help support the clinical needs of the practice's patients and doctors. You will have the support you need to maximize your career potential and help make a difference in your community one smile at a time.

  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Take dental X-rays
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment


  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary
  • Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
