NEW OPENING FOR GASTROENTEROLOGIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Central Maine Medical Center’s (CMMC) well-established and high-volume Gastroenterology group seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our growing practice in Lewiston, Maine. Our health system, which consists of a 250-bed facility in Lewiston and Critical Access Hospitals in both Bridgton and Rumford, employs 400+ providers throughout a wide range of medical and surgical services, with 50% being primary care providers.  We place great emphasis on quality and safety, leading to CMMC being recognized with an “A” Leapfrog rating in 2018. Additionally, both Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital were recognized as 2018 Top Rural Hospitals by The Leapfrog Group.
The primary endoscopy and biliary suite is a state-of-the-art facility with 10 procedure rooms, which include ERCP and EUS capabilities, with future expansion plans. The group’s skilled support team also includes 100% monitored anesthesia for procedures and an on-site office. Last year, the gastroenterology group performed 8,500 procedures in this facility. Central Maine Healthcare features a strong hospitalist admitting service and is currently building an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP) service. There are also ample opportunities for an independent off-campus satellite practice with endoscopy.
