Part time, 24 hours per week to work at an affiliated community outpatient site.  Additional hours up to full time possible based on filling needs for new/additional effort at other Drexel affiliated sites in line with the interests of the applicant.  
 
For the part time position, a mix of direct care and supervision of child fellows required.  Responsible for the administrative, clinical, and educational oversight of the child fellows’ outpatient rotation. Monitors both the quantity and quality of services provided by fellows. Ensures the fellows have an appropriate level of support and supervision for their clinical work. Works with the outpatient site staff to schedule, credential and orient the fellows.  Participates in the clinical and didactic training of medical students, general psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows and trainees from other disciplines.  Participates in the Department’s child and adolescent on-call schedule and in the on-site weekend coverage at Hahnemann University Hospital’s PMCU unit. The on-site coverage provides additional pay.
 
Requirements include 1) M.D. or D.O. with completion of residency in general psychiatry and child and adolescent fellowship 2) licensure in Pennsylvania 3) DEA licensure with a Pennsylvania address 4) board eligible or certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.  If board eligible, must become board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry within three years of passing the general boards.
