The Massachusetts Eye and Ear is seeking a clinical and academic leader to serve as Chief of the Department of Radiology.

The candidate should have an established record as a scholar, mentor, and teacher, national and international recognition for head and neck radiology, academic and clinical accomplishments, and exceptional leadership, managerial, and collaborative skills. Ideally, the candidate would be a proven academic medical leader who can lead a complex and successful organization to even higher levels of excellence. Appointment as Associate or Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements, in addition to teaching activities.

This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical and academic activities of the Department, including:

  • Leading the recruitment, supervision, and development of the faculty in the Department;
  • Driving the clinical, academic, and research missions of the Department; 
  • Ensuring that the highest level of patient care is provided to our patients; 
  • Working with Hospital Chiefs and other leaders to achieve the Department’s strategic plan;
  • Providing administrative, academic, and financial oversight of the Department
