Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Hershey, PA The Heart and Vascular Institute at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking applicants for the following one-year nonACGME Fellowship positions based at our academic medical center located in Hershey, PA.
• Advanced Valve and Arrythmia Surgery Fellowship
• Advanced Fellowship in Mechanical Circulatory Support and Cardiac Transplantation
Qualifications:
• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
• Completion of Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Application Process
The deadline to submit applications for these Fellowship opportunities is June 30, 2019. A formal application from interested candidates is required and should include the following:
• Curriculum Vitae
• Letter of support from department chair or division chief
• One to two page narrative to include: (1) what you hope to accomplish during the Fellowship (including timeline and area of interest); (2) how you will utilize the skills learned at your home institution; (3) the relationship of the planned study to the applicant’s prior work, preparation and professional goals; and, (4) statement of future career goals.
