Rutgers School of Dental Medicine - Department of Restorative Dentistry
 
The Department of Restorative Dentistry is searching for 4 full-time, non-tenure track, faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, 100% FTE.  The faculty person will be responsible for didactic and clinical teaching at both the postgraduate and undergraduate level. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: pre-doctoral education of fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, occlusion, biomaterials, operative dentistry, and implant dentistry. Participation in pre-doctoral and post-doctoral teaching, as well as participation in the Departmental Masters of Dental Science degree program; scholarly activity, research, and service is expected. The selected candidate will teach and/or direct preclinical courses, serve as an advisor for students, lecture in departmental courses as directed, participate on committees as assigned, and other assignments as directed by the Chair.  Requirements for this position include: a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent from an American or Canadian CODA accredited dental school and a certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA accredited program. The applicant must be eligible for a New Jersey State dental license. Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.  Position will remain open until filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
