Associate/Full Professor of Surgery

Rhode Island Hospital

The Department of Surgery at The Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital are seeking a senior-level surgeon and faculty member with special expertise in hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgery to serve as Chief of the Division of General Surgery. Faculty appointment will be at the Associate Professor or Full Professor rank at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, contingent upon qualifications.

The successful candidate will join a large and diverse academic faculty in the Department of Surgery, with long-standing expertise in complex pathology of the liver and pancreas, a renowned surgical oncology program, a nationally recognized trauma division, and a robust division of surgical research that has been continuously NIH-funded for the last several decades.
