The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of
Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full
Professor position in the standing non-tenure clinician
educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area
of gynecologic pathology and research in oncologic
gynecologic pathology. Applicants must have an M.D or
M.D./Ph.D. degree. American Board of Pathology, AP and/
or AP/CP.
Teaching responsibilities may include medical student,
residents and fellows. Clinical responsibilities may include
participation in gynecologic pathology signout, general
frozen section coverage, night and weekend call and
occasional autopsy if needed.
Research or scholarship responsibilities will include
development of an independent and highly collaborative
research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of
gynecologic oncology and in particular in collaboration
with the Penn Ovarian Cancer Research Center. The
successful candidate will have demonstrated peer reviewed
scholarship.
