Prisma Health Chief Vascular Surgery 

Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, seeks a board-certified Vascular Surgeon to serve as Division Chief at the Associate to Full Professor level. The division consists of 4 full-time vascular surgeons practicing at a large teaching facility with practices encompassing a wide spectrum of vascular disease.  This is a dedicated vascular surgery practice with a real clinical need in the community.

The Division Chief will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and be responsible for the continued growth of clinical and academic potential of the specialty. The facility has a hybrid endovascular operating room with an additional dedicated room incorporating flat-panel mobile imaging with a floating-point table. General and plastic surgery residents rotate on the service along with medical school students and there is clearly the potential for development of a vascular surgery training program. Interested individuals must have a demonstrated a commitment to teaching, leadership and research with the ability to interact with fellow practitioners in a collegial fashion.
