Full Time Faculty Position

Massachusetts General Hospital, a major Boston teaching hospital and affiliate of Partners HealthCare, Inc., and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member to act as an Assistant Program Director  with Dr Joe McCain (director of Endoscopy/TMJ Fellowship) and serve as Assistant/Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  The Assistant Director will help lead all aspects of the clinical practice and education of the OMFS Endoscopy Fellowship Program, overseeing curriculum, personnel and CODA (Commission on Dental Accreditation) and administrative functions. The faculty member will partner with Dr McCain to further develop all aspects of TMJ/Arthroscopy and Endoscopy clinical, research and educational programs.  The Assistant Fellowship Director, will also help the OMFS Residency Program Director with teaching the Residents on TMJ and Endoscopy.  The faculty member will participate in Facial Pain collaborations as well (in a formal Facial Pain Program).

The position, requires an outstanding clinician and teacher who would supervise residents and trainees for broad scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, from dentoalveolar to major trauma reconstruction with a special interest in TMJ.
