CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON – SURGICAL DIRECTOR HEART TRANSPLANT PROGRAM

Banner - University Medicine, Phoenix and Phoenix Cardiac Surgery are partnering together to seek an outstanding board-certified cardiovascular surgeon to join our Heart Institute and our Advanced Heart Failure Center and soon to be established heart transplant program In Arizona’s largest medical center.

The program already has a strong short-term device practice, ECMO, and all long-term devices for BTT and DT. The candidate should have 4- to 5-year experience in heart transplantation, be proficient in various aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery and committed to clinical quality, patient safety, and multi-disciplinary teamwork.  The successful candidate will also be a faculty member in the Division of CV Surgery at University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix.
