The University of Louisville Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board eligible/board certified advanced heart failure/transplant cardiologist to join our cardiology faculty in the Heart Failure/VAD/Transplant program. Candidates should be board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and board eligible/board certified in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant cardiology. Heart Failure cardiologists also work in the cath lab doing biopsies and right heart caths. Level of appointment (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor) will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of the HF, VAD and Cardiac Transplant clinical service including inpatient and outpatient settings; in the teaching of medical students, house staff, Cardiology fellows, and fellows from the Advanced Heart Failure fellowship program, and in clinical trials pertaining to heart failure.
