The Boise VA Medical Center in Boise ID is Seeking a BC/BE Urologist to Help Care for Our Veterans – America’s Heroes.

The Boise Idaho VA Medical Center is seeking a talented Board Certified / Board Eligible Urologist to join our Surgical Service Team in providing full-scope of General Urologic Surgical care, with preference for Urologic Oncology qualifications and experience. The Boise VAMC is an intermediate level 46-bed facility providing highly sophisticated primary and secondary care with some tertiary services. Facility has 4 new modernized shared state-of-the-art Operating Rooms, Post-Operative Care Unity, Preoperative and Ambulatory Surgery Unit and ICU. Other surgical specialties and services available include ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics and Vascular Surgery. The Boise VAMC is affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine with faculty appointment may be considered commensurate with physician’s interests, training and experience. Clinical privileges may also be considered through affiliation with Boise’s St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, where physician may perform more complex urologic robotic surgical cases and procedures. 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Degree in Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Specialty
  • Must possess current active U.S. State Medical or Surgical License
  • Preference for Urologic Oncology (Cancer) training, qualification and experience

Benefits Information:

  • Expected range of salary of $300,000 – $350,000 and may include consideration of a Recruitment/Relocation Incentive, and/or Education Debt Reduction Program application consideration that may provide up to $200,000 in eligible school loan repayment
