Emergency Physician

Employed group of more than 45 physicians is looking to expand. Physicians work 9 hour shifts. The position also offers teaching opportunities with UAB MS3 and MS4, Family Practice and Internal Medicine Residency programs. The opportunity includes coverage in three separate EDs: a community ED at Madison Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center at Huntsville Hospital, and a Pediatric ED at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. Our Emergency Departments consists of over 100 Beds  and treat approximately 160,000 patients per year.

Huntsville Hospital is a 941-bed hospital that serves as the regional referral center for north Alabama and southern Tennessee. The hospital has 24/7 Hospitalist, Radiology, Cardiology, Trauma, Orthopedic and Neurosurgical coverage. The hospital also has dedicated Adult, Cardiovascular, Neurological and Pediatric ICUs.
