Reporting to and under the guidance of The Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and working with the Program Director, you will provide direct patient care to the Hospital’s in-patients, and ambulatory patients and supervise residents. Responsibilities include administrative, clinical and academic activities; participate in a dynamic resident training program fulfilling RRC-related requirements for the OB/GYN Residency Training Program as directed by the respective Program Director as well as participate in Faculty Clinical practice.

Each of our patient is an individual with a personal story that goes beyond their disease to their life as a whole person. Therefore, it is mandatory to have exceptional interpersonal communication skills; strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented performance driven organization and familiarity with competency-based curriculum for residency training. 


  • NYS Licensed Physician with (2) to three (3) relevant work experience
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • Completion of residency/fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology as certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS
  • Maintain active privileges at The Brooklyn Hospital Center
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for or holds faculty appointment to the New York Weill Cornell Medical College
  • Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed in the Medicaid Program in New York
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
