The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University (HMU) serves an area of more than 30 million people, and a 6000-bed academic medical center offering tertiary care. The First Affiliated Hospital of HMU is one of the largest hospitals in Northeast China, performing over 70,000 surgical cases annually. about 1000 cardiovascular surgical cases （including cardiopulmonary bypass, congenital heart disease, DAA, heart valve disease and heart transplantation) every year.

Qualifications

For Chairman:

● MD or equivalent degree in Cardiovascular Surgery

● Board-eligibility or certification in cardiovascular surgery

● Domestic candidates should be a full Professor and PhD mentor, while overseas candidates should be an Associate Professor or above

● Candidates should have more than 10 years of cardiovascular surgery experience, with a leading level in the field

● Strong publication record in the past 5 years

● Experience in grant from major agencies as a PI

For Vice Chairman:

● MD or equivalent degree in Cardiovascular Surgery

● Board eligibility or certification in cardiovascular surgery

● Domestic candidates should be an Associate Professor, while overseas candidates should be an attending doctor or above

● Candidates should have more than 5 years of cardiovascular surgery experience, With a recognition by colleague in the field.

● Strong publication record in the past 5 years
