Job Description
One Stop Staffing Solutions is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.
KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS. & ABILITIES THIS SECTION DESCRIBES WHAT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AN EMPLOYEE IN THIS POSITION SHOULD CURRENTLY POSSESS. THIS LIST MAY NOT BE COMPLETE FOR ALL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. 1. Knowledge of psychiatric & medical nursing procedures is essential. 2. Knowledge of all code procedures. 3. Knowledge of Mental Health Laws & Child Abuse/Neglect/Maltreatment laws, & the DHS provider agreement as applicable. 4. Skill in organizing, delegating & prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines. 5. Skill in telephone etiquette & paging procedures. 6. Effective oral & written communication skills. 7. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families & co-workers. 8. Ability to adhere to safety policies & procedures. 9. Ability to use good judgment & to maintain confidentiality of information. 10. Ability to work as a team player. 11. Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience & dedication. 12. Ability to accept direction & adhere to policies & procedures. 13. Ability to recognize the importance of adapting to the various patient age groups to which assigned. 14. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; 15. Ability to meet corporate deadlines. 16. Ability to react calmly & effectively in emergency situations.
