Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist with informatics experience to join the Department of Psychiatry to work 50% clinically and 50% as a Physician Informaticist to lead the Department in leveraging the electronic medical record system and other technology-based systems to drive the highest quality care. CHA is comprised of three Hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro North Region, with a fully integrated electronic medical record system (EPIC). The CHA Department of Psychiatry is recognized as a leader in patient care, teaching and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert training and consultation for clinicians in the Department of Psychiatry around optimal use of the EHR, and leading the Information Technology Department's collaboration with patients, clinicians, managers, educators and researchers in the Department of Psychiatry. Candidates must be BE or BC in Psychiatry and possess strong clinical skills, demonstrated skills in and aptitude for clinical informatics, and a commitment to public health populations. Experience and/or training in clinical informatics is preferred.

CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and academic appointments are available commensurate with HMS criteria and candidate qualifications. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the department by teaching and supervising residents and other trainees, and may also have the opportunity to participate in existing departmental research programs
