Director of Nursing

Job Description
We are seeking a Director Of Nursing to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Nursing Department
• Coordinate nursing services programs and activities with other related departments.
• Develop and maintain written nursing service policies and procedures for implementation
• Interpret polices and procedures to employees, residents, visitors and government agencies.
• Assist nursing staff in the development and use of nursing care plans.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Develop and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of in-service training classes.
• Recruit, interview and select appropriate personnel for the nursing department.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
• 3-5 years experience supervising staff.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with residents.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
