Hospice Assistant Clinical Director - Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description
Aspen Home Health and Hospice is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a Hospice Assistant Clinical Director position. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to execute an effective, sensitive approach in response to needs of the patients, patient families and employees.

The Hospice Assistant Clinical Director supports the Hospice Clinical Director in:

• Day-to-day functions related to patient/family care services and any/all issues related to assuring high quality care
• Ensuring staffing to meet patient/family service needs
• Managing and supervising staff in direct patient care
• Ensuring Conditions of Participation regulatory standards are being met
• Ensuring appropriate documentation is completed by field staff
• Attending hospice IDT meetings and supporting the hospice Medical Director's role
• Assisting with staff orientation and training
• Coordinating and monitoring activities and performance of ancillary services (pharmacy, DME, lab, therapies, etc.)
• Completing daily workflow assignments in HCHB
• Supporting business growth and development

Skills and Prerequisites:

• Active Idaho RN license
• Hospice experience
• Experience with Homecare Homebase is a HUGE plus, but not required
