*Job Summary:*The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry is seeking applications for Division Chief of the Division of Restorative Dentistry, Department of Oral Health Practice. This is a full time, non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
This position provides overall leadership, strategic direction and resources for the Division of Restorative Dentistry including the digital technology mission of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. The position directly provides and drives direction for digital implant planning/placement and teaching skills expected of students in the DMD clinic, providing direct patient care. Specific responsibilities of this position include providing direct patient care, provides clinical teaching and supervises the continuity of patient care.
Qualifications for this position include a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent, eligibility for academic dental licensure through the Kentucky Board of Dentistry, experience in dental education, a minimum of 10 years of clinical practice in a comprehensive general dentistry setting, proficiency in the complete dental CAD/CAM workflow. A proven record of training others in the application of digital dental technology is expected. Experience implementing digital and cutting edge dental technology in a large group practice setting is preferred.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
