The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking applications at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Medical Center Line. We are particularly interested in candidates who have clinical and research expertise in Cutaneous Oncology.  The candidate will have A) M.D. degree and board certification in dermatology B) strong research background momentum in disease-related patient-oriented research, C) superb teaching skills and D) outstanding clinical skills. The successful candidate will have a proven record or a strong trajectory of research and teaching in cutaneous oncology.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

This faculty position will enhance the national and international visibility of Cutaneous Oncology at Stanford, and support our department’s continued preeminent role within the School of Medicine.  It will involve delivery of top quality, cutting edge dermatologic care to Oncology patients and close interactions with our cutaneous oncology team.
