The Medical Surgical Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant at UTower.
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a certified professional that fulfills the need of patient care in the hospital.
  • Through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team, the CNA performs various duties under the direction of the nurse, charge nurse and/or unit director or designee.
  • The CNA performs various duties and observes the patients' conditions and reports to the nurse.
  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification and Licensing:

Certified Nursing Assistant license, BLS Certification (AHA)

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
