Position description
This 0.8 FTE NP PA position involves providing care as part of a team in the GI neoplasia practice. The patient population seen includes those with GI tract cancers, colorectal polyps and hereditary GI cancer syndromes. There are academic opportunities with active research and education options. Provisions of care include, but are not limited to, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment, ordering and interpretation of tests and procedures, and prescription of pharmacologic agents, treatments and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Qualifications
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN and APP license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP.
Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
BLS certification and DEA registration required.
