Funding Opportunities

Lung Cancer Discovery Award $100,000/year, up to two years Independent investigators conducting clinical, laboratory or epidemiological project for lung cancer. Letter of Intent (LOI) due October 3, 2019

Allergic Respiratory Diseases Award $75,000/year, up to two years Early-stage investigators with a primary faculty appointment in an allergy/immunology division or section.

Innovation Award $75,000/year, up to two years Independent investigators leveraging their existing work for basic science, behavioral, clinical or translational research for lung health.

Catalyst Award $50,000/year, up to two years Mentored-investigators conducting lung health basic science, behavioral, clinical or translational research.

Dalsemer Award $50,000/year, up to two years Junior investigators researching the mechanisms and biology of interstitial lung disease.

Public Policy Research Award $50,000/year, up to two years Research and evaluation of existing public policy and programs, as well as innovative ideas for public policies impacting lung health.

Lung Cancer Research Award $40,000/year, up to two years Cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonologists and other investigators— primarily those early in their careers—with original lung cancer research projects.
