The Department of Emergency Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with District Medical Group, is seeking a full-time, experienced, academic Emergency Medicine physician to lead our research mission as the Clinical Research Director.
Opportunities of this position include:
* Oversight of Emergency Medicine resident, fellow and faculty clinical research education.
* Mentoring of trainees and faculty in clinical research.
* Assisting with the planning, evaluation, and coordination of clinical research projects.
* Supervision of research staff.
* Serving as an investigator on grant funded projects.
Candidates should ideally possess Emergency Medicine clinical research fellowship training, previous clinical research leadership experience and be willing to combine administrative, clinical and teaching responsibilities. Prior grant funding is not required, but strongly encouraged. Candidates should anticipate the complete support of the departments faculty and leadership to fulfill the research mission.
This physician will join our faculty group at both our academic Level I trauma center, home to an established emergency medicine training program with 44 residents, ultrasound fellowship, and our freestanding emergency department. Academic affiliation includes Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
Candidates should be ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible with an Arizona medical license. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, paid-time-off, malpractice and CME.
