RESPONSIBILITIES

The Registered Nurse is defined as a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. Utilizing a holistic approach the Registered Nurse provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care. As a professional, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing team leadership and maintaining professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room in an acute care setting. (When staffing is experienced enough to support a trainee, applicants without the requisite expeience may be considered. )

Physically able to stand, stoop and lift. Able to walk and stand at least 90% of the shift. Good manual dexterity and visual and auditory acuity. Occasional potential exposure to caustic materials and fumes. Potential exposure to infectious disease as a result of handling biohazardous materials. Demonstrates ability to position, move, and transfer patients utilizing patient mobilization equipment and/or appropriate resources. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
