Shift: Full-Time
As the Nurse Practitioner, you will partner with our Head NP to help guide the care of our Subacute Rehab and Long-Term Care residents. Our residents are part of the Cobble Hill Health Center family and we work together to keep everyone healthy and happy. We are looking for someone with acute care experience who is sensitive to the needs of our post-acute care population and is excited to learn and grow with us.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a graduate of an approved school of nursing
Be licensed and currently registered to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York
2+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Possess an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
Have an ability to assess resident needs and make sound clinical decisions
Have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Have prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferred, but not required)
Prior experience working in a hospital setting (preferred, but not required)
Experience with SigmaCare (preferred, but not required)
ACLS and BLS required
