Attending Neonatologist

Neonatal Associates of CNY has an immediate opening for a full-time attending neonatologist in the New York State-designated Regional Perinatal Center at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. This position offers a desirable combination of a private practice model in an academic center.  The NICU is a 57-bed level IV unit that admits around 1000 patients per year and cares for the full range of premature and critically ill infants, including those in need of ECMO. We work in close conjunction with a group of board-certified maternal and fetal medicine providers, as well as all pediatric and surgical subspecialists who are available for on-site, real-time consultations and collaboration. All neonatologists hold academic appointments in the Department of Pediatrics at SUNY Upstate Medical University and are responsible for educating medical students and training pediatric residents. The group is actively engaged in clinical research including nutrition in premature infants, chronic lung disease, developmental follow up, and quality improvement.  The candidate will be joining our team of 8 physicians and 15 neonatal nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
