An award-winning, patient-centered community hospital seeks an experienced Interim Radiation Therapist to join the Outpatient Oncology Service Line team as the Assistant Director of Radiation Oncology.

This hospital is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in Delaware, as well as nationally. They also received a Consumer Reports award for excellence in general nursing and overall quality of care.

The Interim Assistant Director of Radiation Therapy Oncology will report to the Senior Director of Oncology Operations and be responsible for directly supervising and overseeing the Radiation Oncology Department while maintaining quality standards and ensuring patient safety. Staff management, budgetary oversight, clinical operations, quality control, and strategic growth will all fall under the responsibility of this manager.

In addition to day-to-day operations, this role has an additional focus on performance improvement/quality and special projects. Assessing and improving clinical outcomes, compliance, patient satisfaction, and more will be a top priority of this position. Experience in project management, Lean Methodology training/certification, or leading quality initiatives.

The Interim Radiation Therapy Oncology Assistant Director will join the team at an exciting time. This hospital has recently opened an additional cancer center and is committed to several construction and renovation projects. The Interim Radiation Oncology Assistant Director will be an integral part of these projects and lead the departments growth.
