INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY Position

The University of Washington Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and Northwest Hospital are recruiting a full-time interventional cardiologist to be primarily based at Northwest Hospital (NWH) in the clinical track at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.  The NWH campus is a UW hospital that offers comprehensive cardiovascular services.  This is a 12-month, annual appointment.   Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to patient care with interests in interventional cardiology.  Successful candidates will have a willingness to grow a robust interventional practice. This position allows individuals to take advantage of the outstanding opportunities that exist for collaboration at the University of Washington, as well as opportunities to be involved in medical education.  Applicants must have an MD degree and be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases, or foreign equivalents. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
